The Underlying Republican Rot Spreads....

Trump defenders are more than willing to let society slip into a fear induced state of chaos, as long as the rest of us never forget, "they won."

We're now told that those over the top accusations of racism by the "left," were simply wrong and overplayed.

What were liberal Americans thinking when they said bad things about the spreading white supremacist movement? After all, it's not like many of these tolerant white guys don't have black friends too...:

An official at an agency that manages foreclosed homes in Flint, Michigan, has resigned after a recording surfaced Sunday in which he blames the city’s water crisis on “n****rs who don’t pay their bills.” Phil Stair, sales manager of the Genesee County Land Bank resigned (after) Stair traced the crisis to residents not paying their water bills:
"Detroit was charging all its customers for the cost; they weren’t collecting from their residents. They weren’t shutting the water off, they were letting bills go forever, but they were charging everybody else, they covered them. Well, Flint has the same problems as Detroit, fucking niggers don’t pay their bills, believe me, I deal with them. I don’t want to call them niggers, shit, I have, shit, I just went to Myrtle Beach, 24 guys, and I was the only white guy. I got friends, I mean, there’s trash and there’s people that do this. … They just don’t pay their bills. Well, Detroit didn’t collect on their bills, so they charged everybody else, but Flint, Flint had to pay their bill to Detroit."
Having black friends goes without saying...

And what about the "Islamic radicals" here and trying to get into this country?

Rep. Clay Higgins wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday: “Hunt them, identity [sic] them, and kill them. Kill them all. For the sake of all that is good and righteous. Kill them all. The free world... all of Christendom... is at war with Islamic horror ... Their intended entry to the American homeland should be summarily denied. Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them down.”
Louisiana Republican voters must be proud, having voted for Rep. Higgins...right? Nice to know the U.S. has an established religion:
Higgins said last year while announcing his resignation from the police force:
“I begin each day on bended knee, but I kneel to our savior. I will not kneel to violent street gangs, I will not kneel to murderers or the parents who raised them. I will not kneel to a discredited wannabe black activist that doesn’t really have the best interest of his people in mind. I will not kneel to bureaucrats from Washington, Baton Rouge or anywhere else.”

Walker's Smart White People Nation!

So I guess technically, because Scott Walker doesn't like immigrants and refugees seeking safety from the violence of their native country, we should keep them out of the U.S. for our safety.

Walker 's un-American blockade is what he envisioned all along. He knew somehow the two refugees from Iraq would someday end up supporting ISIS terrorists. He's sees the future...
Gov. Scott Walker said terrorism-related arrests vindicate his stance against Syrian refugees.
Reports continue to shorthand the story by making it seem two people arrested were from Syria, when in fact they were not, and came to the US well before ISIS:
LA Times: Arrests of 2 men from Iraq in U.S. puts new focus on refugee debate: Al-Jayab, a Palestinian who was born in Iraq and first arrived in the U.S. as a refugee in October 2012, had begun communicating extensively with people in the Middle East … Al Hardan, who entered the U.S. as an Iraqi refugee in November 2009 and became a permanent resident in 2011, is accused of offering support to Islamic State, according to the indictment. And the arrests of two refugees from Iraq, part of a wave of about103,000*** Iraqi refugees admitted from 2006 to 2014...
Surely Americans would never want to join ISIS...oh, that happened?

Walker was gleeful that he could exploit the news to his advantage, jabbing at Americans who abandoned him for Trump. Now they'll be sorry....
Walker: "Sadly, I wish I were wrong...until you can guarantee to us that the people coming from Syria aren't related to radical Islamic terrorism."

Guarantee? Who can do that?
Immigrants and Refugees look like this?

How about making Walker guarantee we'd never have voter or election fraud again under his maze of new rules.

Walker has company now. Other groups are sending the same message, but a little more honestly. Oh, did I mention this is all coming from right wing.

Armed Republican protesters shred 1st Amendment religious rights for Muslim's to push Christian Fascist nation.

The Republican exploitation of the terrorist attacks in France, by candidates desperate to win the White House, does come with consequences. Check out the twitter picture below in Irving, Texas.

This is happening now; gun toting thugs following and intimidating Muslims Americans exercising their First Amendment right. What, in a Christian nation like ours?

Chris Hayes took a closer look at the supposed "Islamization of America," where the leader of the armed protests posted the names and addresses of Muslim's in Irving on Facebook. Irving's wack-a-doodle Mayor Beth Van Duyne has falsely stated the mosque there established the countries first Islamic court to practice Sharia law. That won't radicalize the targets of fear mongering Republicans:

While I've been trying to make the case that Republican are fascists, every conservative troller I've encountered were convinced that it's really just the other way around...

...but as is always the case, when a Republican is making the same case as I am, suddenly everybody starts listening. Here's an incredibly effective ad that should have been produced by a Democrat...instead, it's Gov. John Kasich making my case:

Trump might be shocked to know this:
Smithsonian: The Statue of Liberty was originally designed to be a Muslim woman, the Smithsonian Institution's magazine says. An article on the government-administered museum’s blog, Smart News, claims one of the designers of Lady Liberty drew inspiration from monuments in Egypt and originally intended to construct a veiled female peasant on the Suez Canal. The article cites historian Barry Moreno, author of multiple books about the statue, whose Islamic origins were also reported last week by The Daily Beast.
Howard Dean let loose on Republican fear mongers and fascist. Great stuff and should a part of every Democratic interview with the media:

During the interview below, Chris Hayes received this early Christmas gift from tea party favorite Rep. Steve King, who blathered on about requiring Muslim immigrants to deny their religion in order to stay in this country. King even claims Muslim's don't assimilate well in our Christian nation because they bring with them Sharia Law, which is incompatible to Americanism:

Republicans exploit Syrian Refugees to win Presidential Election!

Disappointingly, Democrats were willing accomplices to GOP efforts to spread stupidity and fear about Syrian refugees. Our own Rep. Ron Kind jumped on board the “stupid” bandwagon. See the list of gutless Democrats here.

It’s hard to imagine anyone getting behind the following compilation of reckless uninformed fear laced rants, but they did, marking another very dark moment in U.S. history. I put together all the clips I could find in just a couple of hours, so there's still a whole lot more I missed. Will we look back on all this with utter disgust? This is what the Republican Party is using to divide the public in order to win a presidential election. It's eleven minutes of mostly hate and a few moments of honesty:

The claims that the screening process isn't rigorous enough is total BS, as you can see that by the screen capture here:

Consider this journey into the manufactured fear of Syrian refugee terrorists getting something for nothing:
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) suggested that Syrian refugees are just trying to come to the United States for a "paid vacation" ... "We’re paying them about $15,000 a year in free health care, free food, free shelter, free clothing, free transportation," according to audio posted by ThinkProgress. "That answers very quickly why so many of them want to come to the United States of America. Were paying them to come here. It's a paid vacation!"
Speaker Paul Ryan constructed this Orwellian take on the refugees, after constructing what would be an indefinite road block to Syrian immigration: "Certified safe by the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence." Of course it's never going to happen, and yet...
"We are a compassionate nation. We always have been, and we always will be."
You would think Ryan had access to the chart below, or have some working knowledge of it after cooking up his impossible test for Syrian refugees trying to come to the U.S.:

The only person that could cut through the GOP rhetoric? Comedian John Oliver picked up where our news media dropped off the face of the earth:

“Every generation has had its own ugly reaction to refugees, whether they are the Irish, the Vietnamese, the Cubans, or the Haitians, and those fears have ben broadly unfounded. In fact, there was only one time in American history when the fear of refugees wiping everyone out did actually come true, and we’ll all be sitting around a table celebrating it on Thursday.”
And religious freedom? It apparently has more to do with contraception and gay marriage than it does letting Muslims freely exercise their religion beliefs:

Republicans get more ridiculous; pushing exceptions to religious freedom!

Taking paranoia to new levels, Republican have constructed an even crazier conspiratorial plot cooked up by the "left."
Raw Story: Anti-Muslim conservatives are coalescing around a narrative to push against national outrage about the arrest of a 14-year-old boy who built a clock and brought it to school. While more libertarian-minded conservatives blamed the incident on “zero tolerance” policies — and not racism or xenophobia — others are warning the incident is a “setup” intended to keep Americans from being Islamophobic enough.

Pamela Geller — who organized an anti-Islam art contest earlier this year in Garland, near the teen’s home in Irving — also claimed the ninth-grader’s arrest was part of a plot by Obama to undermine national security. “This story is pure agitprop most fatal,” Geller warned. “’If you see something, say something’ is now racism. The whole thing has clearly been a setup, and its effect will be to make Americans less safe. If you ever see a Muslim with a suspicious object, remember the lesson of Ahmed Mohamed: to say something would be ‘racism.’ That could end up being the epitaph of America and the free world.” Geller also accused the teen’s family of engaging in Muslim “supremacist stunts.”
This is how conservatives think, what makes them tick, and what differentiates them from liberals:
Jim Hanson, vice president of the anti-Muslim Center for Security Policy, described the boy’s homemade device as “half a bomb,” reported The Intercept. “It looks exactly like a number of IED triggers that were produced by the Iranians and used to kill U.S. troops in the war in Iraq,” Hanson said.

Frank Gaffney, the think tank’s founder and president, agreed … said the controversy was an “influence operation” by the Council on American-Islamic Relations … the civil rights group was using “professional victim-promoting” to wage “civilization jihad” with the assistance of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The anti-government Oath Keepers group complained that schools are too quick to punish students for wearing NRA T-shirts or carrying “Wonder Woman” lunch boxes — but then said Mohamed’s teacher was right to alert authorities to the boy’s clock.
And for those pushing religious freedom, no matter what the Constitution says, this comment might be a bit of a contradiction:
Oath Keeper David Codrea wrote, “As is anyone who believe a prime function of government is to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, as opposed to flooding the Republic with inimical alien cultures.”
