This Pretty Much Says it All about Sarah Palin...

Palin's Paul Revere tale one for the history books, if her followers can rewrite it fast enough.

I caught wind of this unbelievable "controversy" from Twitter, and couldn't help but put this crazy crap on the blog. I don't like giving her publicity, but who would believe this happened if you don't post it? Stuff like this is a fitting substitute while the Onion News Network, on IFC, is on vacation.  

It's insane.....

Littlegreenfootballs: Man, you’ve gotta almost admire the sheer blind dedication of Sarah Palin’s wingnut acolytes.

Now they’re trying like crazy to edit the Wikipedia page for “Paul Revere” to make it match Palin’s botched version of history.  Also see the discussion page for an entertaining exchange between Wikipedia editors and a would-be revisionist. Here comes that ol’ lamestream media again with those “shout-out gotcha questions” — like, “Hey Sarah, remember Paul Revere?”

“Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there. That, hey, you’re not gonna succeed. You’re not gonna take American arms. You are not gonna beat our own well-armed, uh, persons, uh, individual, private militia that we have. He did warn the British! And, in a shout-out, gotcha type o’ question that was asked of me, I answered candidly, and I know my American history!”

Here's a surprised Chris Wallace giving Palin a chance to a correction, which of course, she defiantly doesn't do:

I had reservations about giving Sarah Palin any further exposure, but I couldn't resist, after seeing a developing theme here. It's probably always been their intention all along, but under the Republican plan to use disaster capitalism to push their agenda, even the least educated voter will see through this scam.

One British pundit called Ryan's reform as "premeditated murder."

But that's off topic, here's Palin with one contradiction after the next. I've edited it massively, so it won't hurt so much.

Todays Tea Party Protest in Pictures....

This is about the size of the Palin rally, give or take a few anti-Walker protesters shuffling back and forth from their rally on the other side of the Capitol.

This is an EARLY picture of the anti-Walker rally, and I should know, I video taped it. The walkway up to the Capitol was filled. Of course most of us went to see the "accident," with Andrew Breitbart, superstar Vicki McKenna and Sarah Palin.

And here's my favorite costumed protester, reflecting the world in which our Humpty Dumpty Governor lives, and a poster of Sarah Palin at her finest:

Breitbart: "Go to Hell." The "Paid" Palin Protest for America's Freedom? That's the Price of Freedom?

The class warfare hypocrites turned up on buses this morning to attend the paid appearance protest of the tea party, proudly sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, the Koch brothers corporate front group. Hell, the speakers appeared at a podium that had a sign reading, and I kid you not, "I am AFP."

Here's a short clip of John Fund, who claimed the Milwaukee police just released a 2008 investigation of voter fraud that pretty much stole the presidential election, and Andrew Breitbart, the crackpot right wing supporter of video manipulator James O'Keefe. See his coverage here.

In a message heard around the world, Breitbart told the "rude" crowd of labor supporting protesters, protesting his protest:

Brietbart: "You have no right to lecture us on our language. Your Koch suckers business. Go to hell. No serious, go to hell, go to hell. You've been so rude. You're trying to divide America." 

As pointed out by one viewer, Fund actually messes up saying Waukesha, and says Walkersha County, at the 2 minute mark. Amazing.



I also made this short video when I was down there. It was amazing for me to hear Vicki McKenna telling the anti-Walker protesters, protesting them, to "shut up" a couple of times. It of course drew cheers by the Walker authoritarian supporters, who would love to silence any and all opposition. After all, "they won."

Most amazing is her twisted perception that society, political movements, divisive words and irresponsible individuals do not influence the direction of this country and the motivation of individuals to act. It says a lot about why conservatives don't seem to see the cause and effect of their statements, the consequences, and absolve themselves of the disastrous end results. Like the reasons for the attack on the Twin Towers and crashing the global economy. It's all there in the first three lines below:

"Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own. They begin and end with the criminals who commit them, not collectively with all the citizens of a state, not with those who listen to talk radio, not with maps of swing districts used by both sides of the aisle, not with law-abiding citizens who respectfully exercise their First Amendment rights at campaign rallies, not with those who proudly voted in the last election."

Howard Kurtz, The Daily Beast's: The talk in political circles has been that Sarah Palin had a rare opportunity in the wake of the Tucson tragedy to reach out beyond her base and recalibrate her image beyond that of a gun-toting mama grizzly. Instead, Palin chose to throw kerosene on the embers of a smoldering national controversy. Blood libel, for those who are not familiar, describes a false accusation that minorities—usually Jews—murder children to use their blood in religious rituals, and has been a historical theme in the persecution of the Jewish people.

Had Palin scoured a thesaurus, she could not have come up with a more inflammatory phrase.

LATimes: Sarah Palin dismissed critics who had suggested that the former Alaska governor's firearms-infused rhetoric contributed to the shootings in Tucson that killed six and wounded 14, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, contending they "incite the hatred and violence they purport to condemn."

She saved her harshest words for "media and pundits," whom she said "should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the hatred and violence that they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible."

"After this shocking tragedy, I listened at first puzzled, then with concern, and now with sadness, to the irresponsible statements from people attempting to apportion blame for this terrible event." When we "take up our arms," we're talking about our vote.' "

Yeah, "take up our arms" is all about voting. Dense...clueless.

And finally, "Puzzled?" That just about says it all.

The whole “Mosque at Ground Zero” controversy…isn’t one, unless you don’t believe in the First Amendment. Does that hurt your feelings?

And I thought the “death panel” debate, stoked by the media and created by the twisted, dopey conservative brain trust, was the ultimate in intellectual dysfunction.

Never one to seize the moment, President Obama primed the primordial pump by waffling on something so simple, so democratic, and so constitutional:

President Barack Obama told CNN that in defending the right of Muslims to build a community center and mosque near ground zero … he was "not commenting on the wisdom" of the project.

This is red meat for opponents who feel less constitutional and more “hurt” over the trumped up issue:

Rep. Peter King said … "It is insensitive and uncaring for the Muslim community to build a mosque in the shadow of Ground Zero.”

I guess that’s why it’s insensitive to build a mosque in Tennessee, Wisconsin, and California too.

It appears the president “has chosen to declare our memories of 9/11 obsolete and the sanctity of Ground Zero finished," even in the other "sensitive" areas of our country. That by the way was a quote from the bat crazy sounding group calling itself “9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America,” whatever that’s supposed to mean.

These “hallowed ground” Christian idol worshippers should get the media cold shoulder until they grow up and act like adults, instead of fearful foot stamping children they want to be, seeking to put the media spotlight on their hurt feelings.

But if a poll were taken today, it appears a huge number of Americans would vote against the First Amendment:

Nearly 70 percent of Americans oppose the plan, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll released Wednesday.

Take it from victocrat Sarah Palin, who weighed in with this important tweet:

"We all know that they have the right to do it, but should they?"

Palin and the "Little Dutch Boy" BP Solution

Remember the fable of the little Dutch Boy, where he plugged a hole in the dyke with his finger? Sarah Palin is drawing on Holland's technological experience, and Dutch boy solutions, to help BP save face. If only Obama had taken Holland's offer to help. Ooops, we accepted their help! Has anyone seen the little Dutch boy?

Palin even manages to surprise, maybe even shock Bill O'Reilly, with here fairy tale position.

Palin, Stupidity and the Founding Fathers.

Sarah Palin is an accident you know you shouldn't look at, but you do anyway, to see how bad it is. So when Glenn Beck asked the simple question, "Who's your favorite founding father," you just knew it was going to be ugly.
