Republican Leah Vukmir says Tammy Baldwin on "Team Terrorists" with 9/11 planner Khalid Shaikh Mohammed!!!

We thought it was crazy when GOP Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson said that serving in the military is "something conservative," and that the "battlefields in Iraq" prepared him for Main Street America. Well....

Surely the Republican base won't be duped by this jaw-dropping, bizarre, Onion-like graphic put out by State Sen. Leah Vukmir, declaring Democratic Americans like Tammy Baldwin are terrorists working with KSM?

That "safe place" for Khalid Shaikh Mohammed? The US vacation spot and prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Surprise...can you believe...?
The conservative outlet "Right Wisconsin" harshly criticized the image, calling the attack "an irresponsible campaign blunder."
I should mention that Vukmir's "Team America" is an insane film from the creators of South Park, made up of puppets (marionettes) (appropriate?) fighting terrorist to the memorable theme song linked here...(WARNING: explicit lyrics) The "F" mentioned below is part of the phrase, you guessed it, "F**k Yeah."

Vukmir's total embrace of Trump's America and the use of the war crime torture tells you just how far right and radicalized these uber-Republican candidates are now. As cartoon-like as they make themselves look, nothing is too extreme. Promising to be another Trump rubber stamp, Vukmir praised nuking the Obama Iran deal, ripping Tammy Baldwin, and indirectly France, Britain, and Germany;

Vukmir digs in...but don't all Republican blunderers?
Vukmir: “When the 9/11 mastermind — Khalid Sheikh Mohammed attacks Gina Haspel, an eminently qualified woman who would be an excellent and historic choice to lead our CIA, Senator Baldwin is nowhere to be found. If this is what it takes to get people talking about Tammy Baldwin’s liberal record and her tendency to disappear and not represent us then so be it."
Looks like Vukmir is the one who believes Sheikh Mohammed should be taken seriously, not Baldwin.

Obama's reaction? While Trump's move played to his "base" again (who are these people), Obama offered up these two remaining nightmarish possibilities:

Trump Republicans have basically erased everything America's first black president did:

Maher and Matthews shred Jeb's defense of W over 9/11.

That jaw dropping moment when Jeb Bush said his brother kept America safe despite 9/11 is dissected here, with an animated Chris Matthews attacking the idea from every angle, and George Pataki begging us to put partisanship aside. You know, like the Republicans always do....
Real Time with Bill Maher and panelists Chris Matthews, Mark Cuban and former Gov. George Pataki discuss 9/11 and what the political fallout would have been if a Democrat had been President at the time.

The Jeb Bush campaign even put out this amazingly insulting image that will numb the senses:

News media outrage: Reporters coverage ignores outrageous Jeb Bush claim "W" "kept us safe."

Below is the debate clip where most Americans jaws dropped and the news media chose to ignore; when Jeb Bush made the most insane defense of his brother George. The only one who noticed was MSNBC's Chris Matthews, also featured here. But where were the debate hosts, and were they listening?

Vox: For one thing: The vast majority of people killed on American soil by terrorists throughout the entirety of American history were killed during George W. Bush's administration. It's not even close. And this was followed up by the deaths of an even larger number of Americans during Bush's invasion of Iraq.

Really, the Journal Sentinel is willing to pimp Thompson's Empty "Tammy missed a 9/11 Vote?"

How desperate is Tommy Thompson?

Thompson has been resorting to one last desperate ploy; in the words of Samuel Johnson, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." Tommy is questioning Tammy Baldwin's patriotism. This "patriotic" horse and pony show in congress over symbolic resolutions that have nothing to do with a representatives real job, is all Tommy has left sling.

It also seems odd jsonline's Dan Bice is writing this useless trash too? The headline blames Tammy for missing a vote on one isolated 9/11 resolution, but down a few lines Tammy explains she was sick that day. So...no story right? Wrong. It calls into question Tammy's patriotism. Pathetic.

I just came across this phrase in Bob Dylan's great song "Sweetheart Like You," with a few extra lyrics that describe Romney to a T:

Bush Ignored Bin Laden Threats

Rachel Maddow interviewed Vanity Fair's contributing editor Kurt Eichenwald, who's explosive perspective on the months leading up to 9/11  confirms what many of us suspected. Check out the detailed article here.

Al Qaeda Tells Iranian Leader "We did 9/11"...Stop the Conspiracy Theories.

Even the crazy terrorists can get a little tired of whack job conspiracy theorists. NY Times:
Al Qaeda has a message for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran: enough with the conspiracy theories about Sept. 11. The latest issue of the terror group’s English-language magazine, Inspire, lashed out at the Iranian president for indulging in the claim that the American government — and not Al Qaeda — was responsible for the attack.

The Pathetic "KIds' Book of Freedom."

The next time a conservative/tea party/Republican wacko complains about liberal indoctrination of children via video games and television shows, remind them of the "We Shall Never Forget 9/11-The Kids' Book of Freedom," showing an American soldier shooting an unarmed Bin Laden hiding behind a woman. Now that's what we call real freedom.

This sick example of conservative zealotry and 9/11 exploitation is common place stuff on the far right, and pretty much the norm right now.

Exploiting 9/11 Again, Fourth of July Parade in Racine attracts Tea Party/Vicki McKenna Flies.

UPDATE:  Mark Hinkston, president of Fourth Fest of Greater Racine, said firefighters in uniform will be allowed to march with the parade float honoring firefighters and other emergency workers killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

I'll be the first to admit it; the unions have to work on their public relations skills. They've been slow to adapt to the many sympathetic protesters, made up of public and private workers, who support what unions have contributed to labor rights. Small business owner support as well.

Understanding that conservatives are all about how things look, images, and phony symbolism, unions should have stopped itself from galvanizing the right wing fringe with a poorly thought out act of tough love;

jsonline-Dan Bice: The Racine firefighters union doesn't want to have anything to do with a parade float aimed at honoring public safety workers killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. But a lot of other people do.

As No Quarter reported Friday, fire Lt. Matt Gorniak is going ahead with plans to exhibit the float at Racine's big Fourth Fest parade Monday, even though leaders of the Racine firefighters union recently voted against supporting it. Union officials are upset that Gorniak resigned from the state firefighters union earlier in the year.

Reached Friday, Craig Ford, president of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 321, defended his executive board members' unanimous decision … "The union is not going to use union resources to support this." In general, the union boss said he thinks Gorniak is doing something laudable. Ford said he had no ax to grind with the nonunion firefighter. It's just that, Ford said, his union cannot offer its support. "I don't know how we got caught in the cross-hairs," he said. "This has turned into a PR nightmare."

The flag pin party of image conscious conservatives, who never stop searching for the next golden idol to worship, couldn’t wait to exploit 9/11 again:

Of course, some political types, especially union critics, are trying to score points off the controversy. The Racine Journal Times reported Friday that the local tea party group has mobilized members to come out and support it. Conservative talk show host Vicki McKenna was also encouraging listeners to join her in Racine for the parade.

These fair weather “love our country first” conservatives, a country in their image only, won’t get the chance:
Mark Hinkston, president of Fourth Fest of Greater Racine, said his group doesn't want anyone hijacking the event to make a statement about Gov. Scott Walker's collective-bargaining plan or union politics.

9/11 Gold; This Twin Towers Coin ad should live in infamy, and will here...

I found this grotesque 9/11 exploitive coin commercial so over the top and horrific, that I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore.

UPDATE: Jan. 25, 2011
In 2004, a judge told the company to stop selling its Freedom Tower Silver Dollar after a complaint from then-Attorney General Eliot Spitzer. (the commercial above)
A Port Chester company is run by "scam artists" Sen. Charles Schumer said Monday, as he called for the FTC to stop the company from selling Sept. 11 commemorative coins. The coin features a likeness of the World Trade Center and the U.S.S. New York, both etched in the claimed "Ground Zero silver." The company's advertisement for the coin says the silver Twin Towers and Navy ship can be angled to "stand on the face of the coin," much like a pop-up book.
While the coin is hawked in between commercials for gold bullion and ads for The Scooter Store, Schumer says it's cutting into sales of the "official 9/11 medals" that Schumer authorized earlier this year.

Can the Republicans really say, without consequences, they can't afford to help the heroes of 9/11? Are they real Patriots?

Shit is hitting the fan, finally. How asleep are those "great Americans" out there to allow their politicians to kick 9/11 responders while they're down. Newsy sums it up here:

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

Take a look at Sen. Tom Coburn's stall tactic to get the Democrats to remove a tax on offshore companies. Isn't it really about the money?

Republicans exposed as phony patriots: Forget the 9/11 responders!!!

The Daily Show did what many of us hoped would happen with good messaging from a Democratic Congress, show how brutally cold and phony the GOP's position is for the heroes of 9/11.
