Walker gets Media Cover again for Civil Service Lie.

Wisconsin media is at it again!!! Here's State Sen. Jon Erpenbach, who like me, must have fallen hook-line-and-sinker for another Scott Walker word salad lie:

Thank you PolitiFact Wisconsin for giving Scott Walker cover for something he all but etched into stone about our untouchable civil service law, which he is now going back on. When Walker "led some to believe" he wouldn't change civil service, that was actually his intention and lie:
On "Fox News Sunday," Walker said: "There is no state that has a better civil service system in terms of protections. That does not change in this. Worker rights will be maintained even after our bill passes."

...his "fireside chat," the governor said: "It’s important to remember that many of the rights we’re talking about don’t come directly from collective bargaining. They come from the civil service system here in Wisconsin. That law was passed in 1905, long before collective bargaining, and it will continue long after our plan is approved."

Walker repeatedly cited the strength of employee protections in Wisconsin’s civil service system, and said his 2011 law wouldn’t change the protections. That led some to believe Walker wouldn’t try to change the civil service system. But we found no evidence that Walker made such a pledge, and there have been indications in the past year that he might seek changes.
PolitiFact even disproved their own point when they wrote the following, which also contained statements by the Walker administration there would be no changes:
In June 2014, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that in recent months, Walker administration officials had said multiple times they weren't looking to change the civil service system ... And a spokeswoman for Walker's Department of Administration said at the time that Walker had no interest in changing civil servants’ protections.

Walker tantrum finds way to “avoid” future lies like PM Cameron's: keep things Secret!

The “Cameron Lie” heard around the world didn’t embarrass Scott Walker, instead, it gave him a dangerously devious idea. Walker wants to use the “Cameron Lie” as a way to seize the moment to justify a strong but secretive U.S. government, where nothing passes through the media filter. Well, you saw what happened with Cameron?

Stamping his feet, our poor thin skinned victim of the media Scott Walker declared, enough is enough. jsonline:
Gov. Scott Walker said Wednesday he won't be talking anymore about his private meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron or ones with other world leaders after Cameron's office said the prime minister had not said that. Walker said he had learned from that incident and wouldn't be doing it anymore.

"I'm just not going to comment on individual meetings I had with leaders like that, be it there or anyone else. That's something I'm not going to do going forward."

Walker falsely whines Democrats controlled everything for years!

Even after 4 years of failed policies, Scott Walker is still blaming everyone else for today's problems.

Of course he's lying:

Yes, former Governor Jim Doyle created the Great Recession, and Democrats controlled government "for many years."
Doyle only had a Legislature under total Democratic control for his last two years, 2009 and 2010.

In fact, Republicans controlled the Assembly and Senate for Doyle’s first four years. Control then was split for two years before Democrats enjoyed their brief unfettered reign.

Going back further, to 1995, Republicans in Wisconsin controlled at least one of the three power spots every year until 2009.

The kind of single-party dominance that Walker claimed Democrats have enjoyed for many years is rare in recent Wisconsin history.

Walker, though, is now in year five with Republicans gripping all three levers of authority at the Capitol.

The Republicans have had that status more than twice as long as the "many years" Walker said Democrats did.

We rate the claim False.
You gotta ask yourself, what else is he lying about? Here are similar thoughts from the Wisconsin Gazette.
