Remember, ALL Wisconsin Republicans voted against the Infrastructure Bill!!! Against Business and Job creation.

Two weird points: 

1. For 8 years Scott Walker and the gerrymandered Republican pirates blamed the state deficit on Democratic Governor Jim Doyle, when in fact, it resulted from the Republican induced global collapse aka The Great Recession. They later blamed all the unemployed on Pres. Obama because he's a Democrat too. 

2. Democrats brought the economy back, but Republicans said it was too slow and just not fast enough. Yet Republicans did take credit for Obama's economic recovery, low unemployment, and job growth, which they then credited to Trump.

The Republicans who supported the measure were an ideologically and regionally diverse group. But not a single Wisconsin Republican — Brian Steil, Scott Fitzgerald, Mike Gallagher, Glenn Grothman or Tom Tiffany — joined them.

Gallagher went so far as to release a nonsensical video is which he raged about Democrats “(barreling) ahead with their radical tax and spending spree that would dramatically reshape the American economy.”

That sounded more like Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s ranting about how, in voting for the bill on Friday, the House majority had facilitated “Joe Biden’s Communist takeover of America via so-called infrastructure.”

How about the guy that didn't even lift a finger to debate or run for Congress, Scott Fitzgerald: 

“Speaker Pelosi and her party are in disarray yet again ... It is unconscionable how little regard Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats have for taxpayer dollars. The Democrat party needs to reign in their out-of-control spending, the American people cannot afford the debt of their socialist agenda.”

Infrastructure = Communism? McCarthyism is alive:

A Capitol Times editorial wrote: 

He noted that a former Republican president, Dwight Eisenhower, poured resources into the interstate system in the 1950s — at the height of the Cold War. No one in their right mind thought that Eisenhower was a communist dupe or a radical.

Well, what do you know, big talking state Republicans here and in Washington are gumming up the works trying to stop insurrections.

Rep. Mike Gallagher, after reaping the massive media coverage ripping Trump for the Capitol riots, locally and nationally, wasn't THAT angry apparently. Hey, thanks for your service Mike:

"Trump irresponsibly stoked a throng that included some mob elements and while he should’ve foreseen that there would be lawbreaking, I don’t think he intended a violent storming of the Capitol or the death of anybody,"

Lock Them Up, for Real! This is even more bizarre: Wisconsin's local seditious GOP traitors are gearing up for war, feeling like victims, and angry Trump had a difficult 4 years. How awful. After trying to unmask everybody in the state for their manly liberty and freedoms, it's time for war? JSONLINE: 

St. Croix County GOP chairman John Kraft, an IT professional, said the message was up before last Wednesday's violent, Trump-inspired revolt at the Capitol, and he "can't help what twisted inferences local Democrats choose to attribute to it."

Kraft was one of three litigants in the lawsuit to block Gov. Tony Evers' statewide emergency order requiring people to wear masks in public places.

In September, just days before a listening session about diversity and law enforcement in the Hudson Police Department, a commenter on the county GOP's Facebook page urged people to "bring your AR-15s and get rid of these communist Punk (expletive)."

And I haven't even brought up Rep's Tom Tiffany and Scott Fitzgerald's call to reverse the presidential election.

This line from a PBS Frontline email summed it up:

“Conspiracism has become a recognized and accepted way of exercising political power,” Nancy Rosenblum, co-author of A Lot of People Are Saying, told FRONTLINE. “[It] creates a kind of polarization in the population that’s much deeper than partisan polarization. It’s a polarization about what it means to know something. … Whether it returns to the fringes or not will depend on whether people in office can resist using it.”

Idaho ISP Silences Twitter and Facebook for "Censorship" of Trump: Suspending Trump and blocking seditionist websites wasn't just a good idea, it was a also a business decision. But in northern Idaho, affecting the Spokane, WA area as well, a local ISP seemed confused over this supposed "censorship." The Constitution protects us from GOVERNMENT censorship, not private censorship. So imagine peoples surprise when this happened...

T1 WIFI, confirmed it is blocking Facebook and Twitter from its WIFI service for some customers due to censorship claims...the company said too many customers had requested the sites be blocked, so it would block them for all customers. However, the company backtracked and said those who didn't request the sites be blocked would still have access.

"Our company does not believe a website or social networking site has the authority to censor what you see and post and hide information from you."

NOTE: When Trump repealed Net Neutrality, he actually prevented government from having some control over ISP's, because ISP's were at the time considered public utilities. But that control would not have effected this:

While Your T1 WIFI says they acted in response to censorship, the company's actions could also be considered censorship. In addition, they may violate Washington state's Net Neutrality law, which states that internet providers may not manipulate access to content. 

That's why Net Neutrality was so important:

The law contains the following language: A person engaged in the provision of broadband internet access service in Washington state may not:
(a) Block lawful content, applications, services, or nonharmful devices, subject to reasonable network management.

Mike Gallagher wants to Cancel Apocalypse-Get back to Work: "There has to be a middle ground" nonsense, again.

So let's see if I have this right; Gov. Evers...

Since businesses have closed, employees really don't have an option to "go back to work."

That won't stop Republicans. Like Trump, even our own Congressmen want people to go back to work. But they can't. And even if they could, who would risk their life for a job? Hate to break the news, but company loyalties died during the Great Recession.

Want to get people back to work, TEST: Trump's 2 month messed up testing debacle resulted in "stay at home" policies. An NPR story cut right to the point:

Trump cult-Rep. Mike Gallagher wrote this editorial: "Wisconsin can cancel the apocalypse." I know, Gallagher makes it sounds crazy easy, right? Hey, it's just an apocalypse, go back to work?:

I am not saying “the cure is worse than the disease.” I am saying it is unrealistic to choose between economic devastation on the one hand and millions of deaths on the other. Wisconsinites know that is a false choice. There has to be a middle ground that takes our livelihoods, both physical and economic, into account.

Noooo, it's actually unrealistic for someone to choose millions of deaths, right.

"Balance" has always been the Wisconsin Republican argument, like the balance between the environment and jobs, clean air or lower bills  with cheap coal...surprise, the environment and clean air lost!

Trump just contradicted Gallagher's sociopathic message of "hope," saying his reason is to foil the mainstream media's attempt to sink his reelection...

Oh, did you know Congress is Broken? WI Republican Gallagher just noticed as Dems take power...

Like state Republicans trying to "reform" an all too powerful governor as Democrat Tony Evers takes over, now a "both-sides" Republican is blaming Congressional dysfunction on "theater used by both parties..." now that Democrats are about to control the House. Nope. Not buying it. 

So let's just talk about reforming the system instead of governing and setting the Democratic agenda so voters know what Democrats stand for. Oh, and it doesn't matter if Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher wrote this just before the election because let's face it, they knew they were getting blown out by the "blue wave." 

Let's just call it what it is, insulting:

But if you are among the 87 percent of people who are concerned about what is going on in Congress, then I have an important message for you: It’s much worse than you think,” writes Gallagher, who also floated some proposals for making the place work better, including sending some of the power so tightly held by House leadership back to members.

And with Republicans groveling at the feet of Trump granting his every mindless request, let's talk about "genuine intellectual combat?" You can't make this up:

“I want to be able to walk into the House floor and have a sense (that) this is like a genuine arena of intellectual combat, right? I don’t want it to all just be us throwing bombs on cable news.”

Because that's what Democrats are doing?  

GOP low information candidate Mike Gallagher out to lunch on Health Care.

Republican candidate in the 8th district against Democrat Tom Nelson, Mike Gallagher, must be drinking what Dumb Ron Johnson is drinking. How can two people get the whole health care issue so wrong and still be taken seriously by voters?

1. Gallagher: "It's that relationship between a doctor and their patient. That is at the essence of our health care system."

Me: That is the essence of a single payer plan, where every doctor and every hospital is our doctor and our hospital...where we make our own decisions. But Gallagher isn't pushing that at all. Instead, he's all about putting insurance companies in charge, so they can tell us what doctors and hospitals to see, and what they will or won't cover, and how much. 

2. Gallagher: "ObamaCare is failing because we've inserted a bunch of DC special interests and government bureaucrats into the middle of that relationship." 

Me: Nope, wrong again, except for insurance special interests. Government bureaucrats are not in the middle of anything, but they are there to make sure marketplace enrollees get their subsidies, and that's good. Gallagher would put insurance special interests exclusively in charge, while still having government bureaucrats in place to supplement premiums, but nowhere near the amount in the exchanges. 

3. Gallagher: "We shouldn't force someone to buy health care against their will, particularly when that coverage doesn't actually protect them." 

Me: Wow, not a clue. Those who don't buy insurance end up raising premiums for everyone else, proving Gallagher has never done his research. On the second point "coverage doesn't actually protect them"...is he crazy? The whole Republican argument is based on the idea there's too much coverage, and that people should be able to buy just what they want and can afford. He's confused?

4. Gallagher: "We need to allow farmers, church groups, small businesses to band together in order to create more creative coverage options."

Me: Think about what kind of convoluted nightmare he's talking about. The time, the effort, the paperwork, the legal process of forming that group, adding new membership and keeping track of them, and maintaining and updating their billing system. What a hoop to jump through, just to buy a group policy to lower premiums ever so slightly.
