Republican State Sen. Mike Ellis in Deep Sh**!!! James O'Keefe "hit-job" going after "Squishy" Walker opponents?

State Senate President Mike Ellis dropped out of his bid for re-election Friday, two days after a secret recording was released revealing him discussing setting up an illegal political action committee to attack his challenger.

State Senate President Mike Ellis is defending himself after he was secretly caught on video talking about illegal campaign activity. "I am putting together my own super PAC. I have a $400,000 committee and Judi Rhodes will, I am raising the money, she will manufacture the crap," said Ellis. The video was posted by Project Veritas, an organization led by conservative activist James O'Keefe.

At one point, the person recording the conversation said Walker was focusing on a potential presidential run in 2016.

“Amen. I think Walker’s working for Walker.”

He's got a tremendous independent streak that's to unpredictable for Walker and his funders (Bradley Foundation/Koch) to handle. Regardless of who's paying, it sure smells like authoritarians hellbent on ideological purity.

Walker getting rid of a squish who caused problems passing what he was told last session? He will get knocked out in the primary now - it's not like the James O'Keefe was tipped off to this tiny bit player as a favor to WI Dems.

In a little discussed release, National Public Radio has identified some alarming edits in the video footage released by James O’Keefe III — purportedly capturing NPR officials slamming conservatives and seemingly agreeing with radical Islamic funders. The analysis linked here shows a series of edits that produce a highly distorted picture, including the removal of statements defending conservatives and expressly warning that NPR’s coverage could never be influenced by financial support.
Ron Schiller’s comments appear heavily edited and sometimes taken out of order with immediately following material, according to the analysis.

Sick Sex Plot to Embarrass CNN reporter Foiled. It was conservative slimeball James O'Keefe, who Else?

Because James O'Keefe is a right-wing scum bag, and conservatives love him for it, I'll let CNN tell the latest sleezy O'Keefe gotcha attempt in this promo clip from Abbie Boudreau:

(CNN) -- A conservative activist known for making undercover videos plotted to embarrass a CNN correspondent by recording a meeting on hidden cameras aboard a floating "palace of pleasure" and making sexually suggestive comments, e-mails and a planning document show.

James O'Keefe, best known for hitting the community organizing group ACORN with an undercover video sting, hoped to get CNN Investigative Correspondent Abbie Boudreau onto a boat filled with sexually explicit props and then record the session, those documents show.

The plan apparently was thwarted after Boudreau was warned minutes before it was supposed to happen.

Prosecutors in New York and California eventually found no evidence of wrongdoing by the group ACORN, and the California probe found the videos had been heavily and selectively edited.

O'Keefe's next big splash ended with his arrest after he taped associates entering Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in New Orleans posing as telephone repairmen. He ended up pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of entering a federal office under false pretenses and is now on probation.

For months, CNN had been following a group of young conservative activists, including Christian Hartsock, the director of the music video. The activists will be featured in a documentary, "Right on the Edge," that will air October 2 and 3.
