GOP Sugar Daddy, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, asked Military Contractors to Sabotage Progressive Critics.

If you thought class warfare was something created by Democrats, this might change your mind.

Think Progress:

In February, ThinkProgress broke a story revealing that attorneys for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce had communicated with a set of military contractors — HBGary Federal, Palantir, and Berico Technologies — to develop tactics for sabotaging and spying on the Chamber’s progressive critics. The Chamber attorneys and the security firms discussed targeting ChamberWatch, the SEIU, MoveOn, ThinkProgress, and other groups. The proposals details efforts to steal private computer information, spy on the families of the Chamber’s critics, and plant false documents within organizations opposed to the Chamber’s agenda.

ThinkProgress has uncovered yet another presentation from one of the private security firms describing plans for the Chamber. Because of a technical glitch, a few emails of the 75,000 emails leaked to the public from one of the defense firms did not process. One of the emails now processed correctly reveals yet another proposal, created by HBGary Federal executive Aaron Barr, and forwarded to the other security firms. Although it appears not to have been completed, the last slide in the presentation lists tactics — labeled “Discredit, Confuse, Shame, Combat, Infiltrate, Fracture” — to “mitigate [sic] effect of adversarial groups while seeking litigation.” View a selection of the slides below:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce tries to smear media and liberal bloggers with phony stories. Why?

Maybe the Chamber of Commerce thinks it can save some money in the upcoming presidential campaign if they knock down a few liberal blogs and media outlets with fabricated stories. A quick way to destroy their credibility. It didn't work. Citizens United has opened the flood gates of corporate influence and dirty politics. But like Justice Scalia said, and I'm paraphrasing, it's silly to think money could influence elections. Thom Hartmann talks to Think Progresses Lee Fang:

Hartmann: The Chamber of Commerce is involved in a major controversy after thousands of emails were released yesterday to reveal a secret sabotage campaign by the Chamber directed at political opponents, progressive media, and Wikileaks. These emails were acquired by the hacktivist organization known as "Anonymous" from a private security firm working on behalf of lawyers for the Chamber.
At a price of more than $2 million - three private security data firms - HB Gary Federal, Palantir, and Berico Technologies - collectively known as "Team Themis" plotted to release fake documents about the Chamber of Commerce to entice progressive blogs like ThinkProgress to pick up the fabricated stories and publish them. Upon doing so - Team Themis would release evidence showing the documents were fabricated - and thus damage the credibility of the sites that reported on them. Team Themis also circulated emails containing the private information of political opponents - like the name of their spouses, their children, their sexual orientation, and their place of worship.
Among the organizations targets by the Chamber of Commerce - ThinkProgress, Change to Win, the labor organization SEIU, and the US Chamber Watch - among others. So the question is - if the Chamber of Commerce is going to such great lengths to silence their political opponents...what do they have to hide?

Electing Political Outsourcers...because we're angry.

When American's are desperate for jobs, Republicans take advantage by proposing killing minimum wage.

Senate candidate John Raese has the balls to assume the minimum wage is something temporary for many unskilled workers who may have lost the primary occupation. This is an amazing demonstration of America changing the basic fundamentals envisioned by the founding fathers.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is a Secret No More.

It's about time we woke up to what has been a completed takeover our our country by big money. It's taken over 40 years of constant repetition to convince Americans that private business will provide to us what government can only screw up. Now with the help of "small" we the people government conservatives, the void they want to leave to the private sector, health and energy, can be filled by our wealthy abusers. And no, I'm not against business.

The new business model, which never gets talked about in the media, is permanent downsizing, fewer workers, and higher corporate profits. When sales pick-up, labor at half the price will fill temporary jobs. Simple! Harley Davidson and others have taken this path, with renegotiated union contracts that require temporary cheaper labor and half pay newbies.

From share holder backlash, to Feingold grilling his opponant, to Faiz Shakir from Think Progress, Keith Olbermann has 'em all.

Rove Changes Tune about Chasing Down the Money, from the Mosque to the Chamber of Commerce.

Jon Stewart shows how hypocritical conservatives are when it comes to living by their own rules. Nothing could be more obvious, and it's all here in the clip below:
