The New Conservative Entitlement: Six gun justice.

The shooting death of a young man confronting a police officer recently in Madison raised an interesting question for me; why do we have a stricter standards determining the use of force by police officers than we do with average gun toting citizens? We have no problem handing out get-out-of-jail cards to Castle Law killers. We could save a lot of time and taxpayer money doing away with investigations that hold officers to a higher standard.

WSJ: Officer Stephen Heimsness … fatally shot a man in November in a Near East Side neighborhood … An internal investigation found Heimsness had not violated department policy involving use of force … Madison Police Chief Noble Wray said that concerns for the safety of Heimsness, who had received death threats after the shooting, had prevented him from returning to patrol duty.

Now police officers are getting death threats from gun owners? The dynamic is changing quickly, isn’t it? Concealed carry and Castle Laws have hatched a whole new kind of entitlement: gun justice.
