Obama Right about Face on Dollar and McCain Racist ad

Well, well, well. So Sen. Barack Obama is playing the race card huh? McCain Manager Rick Davis is stump as to how anyone could come to that conclusion.

Are the major media outlets now going after Sen. John McCain for adding a racial overtone to the election process.

UPDATE: Obama let’s McCain win again. Sen. Obama is now backing away from the suggested racist content included in the McCain campaign ads, and Republican affiliates across the country, and instead is giving them a pass to continue unencumbered. Racism is now “cynicism.” Oh well.

According to AP: "In no way do I think that John McCain's campaign was being racist," Obama said. "I think they're cynical. And I think they want to distract people from talking about the real issues." (When) a McCain spokesman suggested that the Arizona Republican was being painted as a racist. That's an attempt to shift the campaign's focus, Obama argued. "None of you thought I was making a racially incendiary remark, or playing the race card," he said. "It wasn't until John McCain's team started pushing it that it ended up being on the front page of The New York Times two days in a row."

A McCain campaign spokesman said: "We're glad the Obama campaign retracted Barack Obama's accusation because it was absolutely false, and we're moving on."

Again, watch the “dollar” campaign ad, and tell me if there is an attempt to scare people who might not like seeing a black face on American landmarks (Mt. Rushmore is so blatantly).

I will agree with Obama on one thing. “He added of the Republicans' approach: "They're very good at negative campaigning. They're not so good at governing."
