McCain Gets More Media Help From Cokie Roberts and Exotic Obama.

If the “most peculiar man” becomes president, it won’t be because of policy or vision, it will the fault of a biased complacent media. Mea culpa’s at that point won’t matter anymore. The following Cokie Roberts audio directed at Barack Obama would sound bizarre even if it had been directed at Sen. John McCain. It’s truly stacking the deck against the Democratic candidate, without a hint of awareness or guilt.

Media Matters reports: On NPR, Cokie Roberts asserted that Sen. Barack Obama's vacation to Hawaii "makes him seem a little bit more exotic," and characterized Hawaii as "a somewhat odd place to be doing it," despite also asserting, "I know that he is from Hawaii, he grew up there, his grandmother lives there." Roberts previously criticized Obama on ABC's This Week, stating that Obama's vacation in Hawaii "has the look of him going off to some sort of foreign, exotic place."

The question everyone is asking: “Why is the race so close, when Obama rates so high on the issues that matter most to the voting public?

Its public perception, suggested to us by the “news advertisements,” in the form of opinionated pundit journalism.
