@VictoriaPrude took a stand using facts while calling out politicians at the Texas Senate Committee. It was a glorious moment. Sarah Slamen went down the line calling them out, beginning with Senator Campbell, an ophthalmologist, saying:  

”So I won’t be making you the expert on reproductive health. We can give you all the children with Chalmydia and Herpes in their eyes, since we don’t have sex-ed in the state. And Senator Hegar? You’re about as [interrupted] You are about as [interrupted] ... Excuse me! This is my government, ma’am. I will judge you! I will judge you, ma’am.” [interruption]

 “Is this counted against my time?” After being told that it is, ”A senator talking over me? ” She is told once more that it will count against the time allowed.

 “Well, I will just go ahead and talk over  her — and this is how big of a fraud I know you were for giving these these proceedings all night. It’s a low-bar that you hold yourself to” [police come in] adding, “that you’d simply allowed us to speak? I will speak against an opthomologist who” [police grab her] and adds, “Everyone on the internet can see what you’re doing right now. This is a farce.”

Officers pull her away from the microphone and dragged out of the room.
