Walker's CPAC of Lies

Scott Walker is a smooth talker, a con artist supreme, and a lucky guy to have a fawning media that never reveals the failure he's become as governor. Yes, he beat a recall, but that doesn't suddenly mean his plan is working, or that he knows what he's doing. A lot of this is familiar stuff, which is why Walker doesn't need notes or teleprompter.
jsonline: Gov. Scott Walker told thousands of conservative activists Saturday that "real reform doesn't happen in our nation's capital, it happens in our state houses all across this country."  "In America, we take a day off to celebrate the 4th of July, not the 15th of April." "We have to be optimistic. We have to be relevant. And most importantly, we have to be courageous." He touted his plan to "move people from dependence to independence." "As conservatives we shouldn't take a back seat to anybody. We have a moral cause. It's not just about balancing budgets. It's not just about getting the economy going again. What we stand for, is not about taking things away from people, that's the other side."

"This president and his allies’ measure success in government by how many people are dependent on the government," he said. "We measure success in government by just the opposite, by how many people are no longer dependent upon the government. Not because we kicked them out to the street. Not because we threw them out to the curb."

Walker told the audience, "So don't back down, don't take your foot off the gas, now is the time to push forward and tell all America, one state after another, until we take our message to Washington, that true reform comes with an optimistic and a relevant message, but most importantly, a courageous message that says in America we believe in the people and not in the government."
Love these comments:
Did he mention that in WI the Republicans are erasing hard drives to conceal information?

What could be more courageous than risking prison for what one believes in - gerrymandering?

Walker has been a government dependent his entire life. He is borrowing over a BILLION dollars in order to "balance" his budget. Walker's spending depend largely on roads, which will cost more to maintain over time. In short, Walker is borrowing money to spend now in order to increase ongoing costs in the future.

Of course "conservatives" will listen to this, just like they will listen to lifelong government-dependent Paul Ryan. When will the Republicans get an educated, self-made person?

What about Ron Johnson, or doesn't marrying into a business fit your definition of "self-made"? Doesn't fit mine either.

"For me, it's really a measure of what I've accomplished and what more I could accomplish if I was in a different position," he told Politico.

Governor Walker is a very clever politician who certainly knows how to spin a message that sounds really good to people who don't know what he actually does. If I heard his message without knowing any facts, I would be impressed. Unfortunately, we realize that most of his message is pure spin.

"...message that says in America we believe in the people and not in the government."

So the career politician tells us not to believe in him. Message accomplished.

Great speech! Walker for President! What a great Country we would live in if Everyone thought like our Great Gov. Scott Walker! Go Walker!

Yeah, I can just imagine if everyone's motto was 'Divide and Conquer'.......
