Some Republicans have problem with Walker's Forced Voucher Roll out.

Upfront with Mike Gousha (goo-shay) featured Republican State Sen. Mike Ellis, a guy who isn't blindly on board with vouchers, and doesn't like Scott Walker's planned roll out of vouchers statewide.

It's hard to believe a Republican could make so much sense, despite his continued support for the idea of vouchers. Ellis is a real character and I like his energy. We need legislators like Ellis who doesn't fall in line with the whole privatization movement. He really believes it serves a more constructive purpose.

  1. Respectfully -- you don't understand what is going on in public schools and repugs not being fully-behind this is not what you think.

Luther Olsen, head of Education Commitee (anything BUT a moderate and a man that stole MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from farmers) has been advocating total destruction of public schools for many years.

His "wife" Joan Wade (ripon pastor, where they live assures that they didn't actually get married) is the director of CESA 6. She promotes Olsen's propaganda -- that WI cannot fund schools and we must let them wither and die.

Then, the story goes, grassroot consortiums will emerge to accomodate every student and every need blah blah blah blah.

What they don't tell you is this: JOAN WADE EXPLOITS CESA 6 TO DIRECTLY PROFIT FROM EDUCATION CUTBACKS AND THIS MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO OLSEN'S HOUSEHOLD!

This is just another version of how Olsen used his brothers to steal multi-millions from farmers for a failed ethanol project.

Republicans squawking about vouchers are just upset that the walker model destroys public schools by moving funds to out-of-state corporations instead on other political insiders!

Please stop giving the false impression that those against vouchers somehow support public schools as you and I know think we know them. This is absolutely untrue.

It is also absolutely untrue that public schools like Appleton actually serve diverse needs of diverse students and neither does any other urban district in Wisconsin.

Olsen and his cohorts that question vouchers are just trying to demand they get a piece of the action for the interests they represent.

And Olsen just represents himself, though CESA 6 does the dirty work.
