Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus moves party into Permanent Campaign Mode!! That's a change?

From the party that always calls Pres. Obama the campaigner and chief, accusing him of

campaigning even when pushing policy, has decided to permanently campaign…what? 

Don't get me wrong, I'm very well aware Republicans have always been in permanent campaign mode, but it's fun to see them pretend this is a new idea.

The GOP erred by not running a more “permanent” campaign in its quest to retake the White House, according to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. “So fundamentally we sort of have to accept the fact that we are in a permanent political environment and that nine-month operations aren’t going to work anymore, obviously.”
