10% of Janesville Teachers may Retire Early, working for nothing, and for "the Kids" Insulting.

Janesville School Board President Bill Sodeman I think revealed unintentionally how conservatives are trying to take advantage of our teachers dedication and love for kids and jobs. In reference to the cuts in Act 10:
Sodeman: "I think  those changes are minor compared to other things that are more important; you know are you still effective at your job, do you enjoy doing it, working with the kids. If you do, please stay. We're not trying to push anyone away."
Yeah, do it for the kids. Sodeman should try taking his own advice. Here's Channel3000:

Dave Parr, president of the Janesville Education Association, said as many as 75 teachers have come to him looking for advice, but with contract talks stalled he has few answers.

Fifth grade teacher Kimberly Bern may leave the classroom. She said uncertainty about benefits after June has her considering retirement. "I don't want to retire," Bern said. "I love coming to work every day. I would miss that interaction with the students, and I feel like I can still make a difference in children's lives."
