Martin Bashir is brutal, and deservedly so, regarding a response Paul Ryan gave to a rally question. The Republican base is stuck on getting poor Americans to pay a "nominal fee" in place of taxes, so they have some skin in the game. I guess the 10 percent bracket and 15 percent payroll tax just isn't enough, or the property taxes they pay, or sales tax, energy tax....
