When it comes to health care, Republicans are more concerned with corporate costs than saving lives.

Providing health care and saving lives costs too much!!! That's the simple and now revealed truth of the Republican Party.

That's what a guest Republican analyst said to Chris Matthews the other night after hearing a mother's heart wrenching story during the Democratic convention. In fact, he made the case stories like her's reminded conservatives of the high cost of "Obamacare." This goes beyond rationing.

One more thing; Matthews is right to quiz this conservative ideologue about his focus and disdain for Europe social programs, but in reality, universal health care is a world wide standard. The U.S. is the odd man out, and the most costly.

Parents like Stacey Lihn should not have to go through the painful uncertainty of reaching a lifetime limit on a lifesaving heart transplant for their young child. Isn't it enough for a parent to have to worry about the medical condition itself, and not how they'll have to pay for their daughters care?
