Democracy difficult, too costly for Republican Freeloaders.

Isn't it apparent by now that Wisconsin conservatives prefer the much easy government model of an authoritarian state, headed by a courageous leader who is willing to defy public outrage?

If the moronic ranting’s flowing out of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial board are any indication, than we’re really in trouble. At the risk of sounding like a tea party loon, try to imagine any one of our most admired founding fathers saying the following about citizen involvement:
It's unnecessary, it's expensive, it's ugly … Enormous amounts of money have been raised on both sides (note: not true) is coming from folks and interests outside Wisconsin … the ads will be ugly and divisive … This recall is seen by some here and elsewhere as part of a larger struggle … for setting the stage for a constant recall election cycle.

And we still maintain this is all unnecessary because it essentially boils down to one issue: last year's legislation that severely curtailed bargaining rights for most public employees. Politicians, regardless of party, should not be recalled over one issue or one (or even several) votes.
The fact that it’s really not about one issue, reveals what might be the scariest thought of all; they didn't notice their dictatorial power grab and uncompromising governing style. They decided that nearly half of the people in the state didn't count, and now don't want to be held accountable:
It's just too easy now, and Wisconsin needs to curb this fever as soon as it can.
Yes, we must curb democracy…
