Hurley conservatives trash Sen. Jauch, seem to hate clean rivers and drinking water, want industry written mining laws.

It looks like a bunch of angry tea party whiners showed up at a Hurley townhall to make inane comment to Sen. Bob Jauch. Not a big crowd, but were they loaded for bear. They brought up every short sighted reason the mining bill should have passed, including the fact that...I hope you're sitting down, Democratic Sen. Jauch and his wife signed and even circulated a recall Walker petition. Who would have guessed?

That meant that the mining bill failure was more political than environmental. Projection.

Each angry, typically uncompromising speaker ignored the statewide implications of the industry written bill. Watching these self important citizens get up and rattle off their party's talking points and trash talk the senator was enough to wish in some way they could have the mine, and lived with their 3 eyed children and lifeless rivers. But we know the reservation or the federal government would have stopped the mine cold anyway. The video is from the McIver Institute, and actually, not badly done. By the way, no word on how many in the crowd didn't sign the recall, and therefore, support the uncompromising style of control freak "John Doe" Walker.
