The Epiphanic Ron Johnson Moment! Fumbles Health Care Mandate.

Dumb Ron Johnson’s manic fear, clearly articulated when he said what is “at stake is our last shred of freedom,” is more a conclusion based on his own misinformation.

Johnson thinks the conservative Heritage Foundation’s idea of a health care mandate had something to do with the Massachusetts plan, and not a “tactical” counter proposal to fight “HillaryCare.” The Gingrich Republicans backed up such a plan in 1993.

   

When it comes to something as important, and economically devastating to the U.S. economy as the rising cost of health care, Johnson’s stupidity on the one issue that got him into politics, is stunning. From Upfront with Mike Gousha:

In 2008, then presidential candidate Barack Obama was opposed to the individual mandate. He stated the following in a Feb. 28, 2008 interview on the Ellen DeGeneres showShe’d have the government force every individual to buy insurance and I don’t have such a mandate because I don’t think the problem is that people don’t want health insurance, it’s that they can’t afford it. So, I focus more on lowering costs. This is a modest difference.

Dumb Ron Johnson really does more talking than listening.
