MacIver Institute part of roving Walker Provocateurs?

The ambush video below, produced by the fringe right wing Koch brother think tank MacIver Institute, could not be more idiotic. Let's call it as we see it. Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs worked with both protesters and citizens to defuse a possible conflict of interests. For the MacIver Institute, this was a sign of weakness, and wanted to see heads roll and protesters dragged off in cuffs.

According to the MacIver Institute coverage:

While the rally was in violation of the policy governing access to state facilities, it appears protesters may have established an understanding with Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs. As he was speaking to veteran protester Miles Kristan about their understanding, the chief asked our reporter to leave.

"You told me you were going to help me with this," Tubbs is overheard saying to Kristan before the camera stopped rolling.

Imagine that, Police Chief Tubbs working with Miles Kristan to keep order at the Capitol. Outrageous? And what's this about a MacIver reporter? Give us all a break.



MacIver doesn't get it; the new rules dealing with public dissent and the ability to redress their government, instituted by the Walker administration, were meant to discourage protesters, not go to court. If the MacIver Institute had a problem with Tubbs, they should go after Mike Huebsch, head of the DOA. But these big talking brownshirts won't go after their own "leaders."

Walker's Department of Administration put into affect new regulations that appear to outright violate the constitution. Let's face it, that's all the Walker administration needs right now is another court case.

Is this divisive, crony laden, criminally investigated administration what voters had in mind back in November 2010?
