Right to work means lower wages, end of story.

One story line to keep an eye on is the Republican fiction that Obama’s jobs program has only created low paying jobs. Insane? 

Think about it, low paying jobs are now a concern for Republican politicians who on a state level have demanded lower wages for public workers and have continued the drum beat to do away with the minimum wage. But...wages are too low? Can they say that now too? Check out this protester in Florida from the Red Neck Party, she knows;

Indiana Republicans simply have the balls to look bad nationally, smashing unions, all the while hosting the Super Bowl, which is filled with high priced union players.  Republicans are also pushing the ability of workers to freeload off union negotiated wages, by allowing them to avoid paying dues.

And just as bad, wages will plummet, dragging consumer spending down with it.  

Republicans want to make Indiana the first state in more than a decade to enact right-to-work legislation, which bans employment contracts that require employees to pay mandatory union fees for representation. Supporters claim it would bring more jobs to Indiana, where the unemployment rate has crept back up to around 9 percent in the recent months. Opponents say it is a move aimed at breaking unions in Indiana and claim it would depress wages for all workers. The measure could reach Gov. Mitch Daniels' desk before the Feb. 5 Super Bowl in Indianapolis. Last week, the NFL Players Association called the bill "a political ploy designed to destroy basic workers' rights."
