Republicans Jobs Plan says NO to Sex Education.

It’s hard not to notice the continued damage state Republicans are inflicting on our state. Another reason why waiting till the next election is out of the question.

In one of the more surreal and bizarre moves yet, Republicans actually want to repeal sex education in our schools. Heck that’ll stop all that teen experimentation, sexual activity and unintended pregnancies.

If you haven’t noticed, freedom and liberty loving Republican politicians have decided there are limits to freedom and liberty when it comes to things they don’t like.

By name, here are the loons trying to suppress knowledge and choice:
Senators Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin), Pam Galloway, MD (R-Wausau), Glen Grothman (R-West Bend), and Joe Leibham (R-Sheboygan) have introduced Senate Bill 237 to repeal Wisconsin’s Healthy Youth Act. (that) improves the health of young people, by requiring Wisconsin public schools that choose to teach sex education provide students with comprehensive information that includes medically-accurate and age-appropriate information about abstinence, birth control and barrier methods to prevent unintended pregnancy and STDs.  The law also requires that teens are taught life skills they need to say no to sex, to insist on contraception, and to communicate with parents and other trusted adults about these issues.
The majority of Wisconsinites who back educational choice and sex ed., need to be protected by our wiser overseers of social engineering and conservative nanny staters.

I guess we should thank them for protecting us, and draining more taxpayer money to pay for the health consequences pushed by fringe groups like Pro Life Wisconsin. They are after all, bat sh*t crazy.
The Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health (WAWH): “This extreme anti-prevention, anti-science, and hence pro-teen pregnancy, pro-poverty and pro-abortion bill is completely out of touch with Wisconsin voters and values.”
