Ideology Trumps Wages and Common Sense, or, You can’t Argue with a Sick Mind.

I almost spit out my coffee this morning when I read this amazing commentary from a Brookwood Elementary teacher. This should give you an idea of what we’re facing as a nation, trying to deal with suicidal conservative social engineers, who are willing to squash their opposition so they could usher in a one party ruling class.

Trying to reason with these supposed societal victims of an ugly America that continues to deal them a lousy hand is impossible. The party of self-inflicted pain now wants everybody else to feel it too.

Get a load of this logic:

WSJ: Susan Flood says she will gladly subtract $4,000 in pension and health premiums from her take-home pay next year in exchange for not having to pay roughly $800 in union dues.

She traded paying $800 a year in union dues so she could pay $4,000 in job benefits. An employer can't ask for a better employee than that. And you want these people in charge of our economy?

Freeloaders! Like all tax loathing conservatives, they like all the benefits their taxes provide, but just don’t want to pay for them anymore. They’re done now, it’s time to freeload.

Susan Flood will get to freeload now. She’s wanted to do that for years while still collecting a nice salary and benefits package her intrusive union negotiated for her. But to hear her tell it, she’s done fine all by herself:

"They say the union is there to stand up for you," Flood said. "Well, no one has ever had to stand up for me. I think I stand up for myself by doing my job."

And collecting a nice paycheck and benefits to boot? What a pillar of strength.
