New Jersey voters don’t like charter or voucher schools, again.

When are we going to see more public polling in Wisconsin? Walker’s approval? Support for more charter schools? On the last question, state after state over the last few years have shown people are not crazy about charter schools and don’t like the idea of taxpayer money going to private voucher schools. Here’s another poll, this time from New Jersey, where Gov. Chris Christie is pushing both unpopular ideas:

TheRepublic: A new Rutgers-Eagleton Poll released shows they oppose using public money for vouchers to send children to private schools. The poll tested two key parts of Gov. Chris Christie's plans to overhaul the state's education system. 

It found 44 percent of respondents support more charters, which use public money but operate outside traditional school districts. But 42 percent say New Jersey has enough of them already. Meanwhile, voters oppose vouchers by a 53-42 margin.
