They must think liberals are anything like conservative, gun toting, government revolt promoting, secessionist seeking, tea party crazy protesters.
Republicans call us latte sipping peaceniks, yet fear us when we protest. The party of fear mongering is scared to death of everything, including angry Democrats, illegal immigrants, Muslims, liberals and their own god damn government. No wonder they want to carry guns into schools and family restaurants.
So that would also explain the spine chilling fear they experienced after attacking public workers. If it was so right, why the “hit and run” tactical move to commandeer a city bus away from a very vocal opposition?
Cap Times: City of Madison officials are working to get reimbursed from the state government after Republican senators used a Madison Metro bus to leave the Capitol area shortly after their Wednesday vote on a modified budget repair bill that greatly weakened collective bargaining rights for most public employees.
A resolution was introduced by the City Council … requests payment for the bus service, which was not on a regular route, and asks Metro officials to no longer provide transportation to state employees or elected officials who are not members of the Capitol or University Police.
"The City of Madison Common Council does not consider this an emergency situation that warranted the use of City resources given the availability of other private or state-owned resources that could have been used instead," the resolution reads, noting that with the two-hour meeting notice, private transportation away from the "peaceful, though boisterous, protests" could have been arranged.
‘Nuff said.
