Law Professor Ann Althouse worries Kids Might Grow Up Questioning Authority

UW Law Professor and right wing surrealist Ann Althouse is not happy with the indoctrination of children by their own parents, much less "liberal" public school teachers. This is the headline from her blog:
"Do you really want to use rote chanting to train kids to protest against authority?"
Jaw dropping, isn’t it. We would certainly hate to see dissent against “authority.”

The authoritarian nature of conservativism is now on steroids, and we're now seeing this play out in the likes of Walker and his fellow republican governors.

If that weren’t bad enough, she’s delighted by the thought that someday those same kids will turn their chants back on the teachers.
Hey, teachers! Aren't you forgetting a thing or 2? You've got them chanting "Hey hey, ho ho, Scott Walker has got to go" — but what do they know about Scott Walker? That he's done something the teachers don't like. So, maybe some day, when you do something they don't like, some kid might start "Hey hey, ho ho, [TEACHER'S NAME] has got to go." Today, you're pleased to teach them "The children, united, will never be divided." I'm picturing them repurposing that chant back in the classroom.
But Ann Althouse’s authoritarian personality can’t help but bubble over with exuberance:
What will you do if they learn the lesson you're teaching them, to denounce legitimate authority when it crosses your heartfelt interests?
Whose school? OUR SCHOOL! Whose school? OUR SCHOOL! This video was taken by Meade and me at the Wisconsin Capitol today around noon (March 14, 2011).

I don't know about you, but I didn't see many kids in the video below.

According to the appropriately named site Hotair, if kids knew the truth, they would be chanting for Obama's ouster.
Ann Althouse … is troubled by the sight of kids being taught to chant without comprehension, but that’s actually useful here, no? Comprehension would entail knowing that Wisconsin public employees still have more collective bargaining rights on pay and benefits than our federal work force has, and if kids knew that, well, they might conclude that it’s Obama who should be the one to go. And certainly that would be the wrong lesson.
I’m just glad there are adults around to set them on the right path.
Fox News had it's own spin, in Megyn Kelly's interview with Althouse:
