Sen. Russ Feingold has frustrated me many times, he's always pushing for a better bill, but his determination not to compromise effective legislation is a quality that takes some getting used to. Feingold's new ad reminds me of how an informed Senator can make the process look easy. Imagine "sunspot" Ron Johnson trying to prevent the continued offshoring of American jobs or hammering out the details of improved veterans benefits. You can't plastic wrap effectiveness.
