Pushing aside the big hissy fit by Republicans when a Democrat brought up the idea of gulags, Sen. John Kyle seems comfortable to throw that word around whne referring to my current source of health care, Medicaid.
Apparently, Medicaid is like being in a gulag. Oddly the government health care gulag options I was presented, 6 HMO's, the one I picked was the "poorly" run one I had been using for the last 15 years. It wasn't some strange poorly run government plan.
My guess; Kyle decided to go with a scare tactic, and is completely unfamiliar with state gulags...I mean Medicaid plans. Surprised?
I'm happy with my health care gulag.
