Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi pretty much reads my mind in his recent article on health care reform. Below is a condensed video version of Taibbi explaining a few of the details.
The odds of real reform are slim. The cost of premiums won't really change, and thousands of people will die and many more will go bankrupt.
And that will be at the hands of the Democrats, especially Pres. Obama. His complete lack of leadership in shaping the bills in congress is nothing short of mind boggling. Would you be surprised that the insurance industry will be making out like a bandit on reform? Come on, where have you been.
