Palin Speech: Here are a Few of My Scariest Things

Did the Republicans know the rest of the world might have been watching a whole new nightmare unfold before their very eyes. Embarrassing would be putting it mildly. Lies and hypocrisy are common place and expected by the crowd cheering for more. These are a FEW OF MY SCARIEST THINGS... Palin may have gotten rid of the government jet, but she hedged her bets with the backyard picture included here.

In front of the world Sarah Palin portrayed and made fun of Barack Obama as a Messiah figure, and sarcastically took a shot at our Constitution, rousing the crowd to boo the rights it bestows
upon its citizens and as an example of rights other countries could admire.

The fevered pitch of a gluttonous crowd of oil hungry anti-environmentalists shouting "Drill baby Drill." A solution to a current problem effecting us 10 to 20 years down the road. What a plan." AP-Palin's philosophy from our perspective is cut, kill, dig and drill," said John Toppenberg, director of the Alaska Wildlife Alliance, maintaining she is "in the Stone Age of wildlife management and is very opposed to utilizing accepted science. The killa from Wasilla."

We've seen the enemy.....

I liked this comment-Choskasoft: "In case anyone was wondering what the opposite of hope is, we learned tonight that it is hate...

The GOP's cheerful viciousness

With last night's cheerfully vicious speeches from Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin, the Republicans did what they always do in order to win elections: they exploited raw cultural divides while mocking, belittling and demonizing Democratic leaders. Yet again, they delivered brutally effective and deeply personal blows to the Democratic presidential candidate grounded in the same manipulative and deceitful yet very potent themes they've been using for the last three decades.
