Sadly, the Republicans had to delay their convention so they could focus all their attenton on Hurricane Gustav, and the relief efforts in New Orleans. Never a party to take advantage of a crippling disaster, they slogged on and endured the pain and suffering of the left behind masses in St. Paul Minnisota.
