McCain to Detainees, Guilty until Proven Guilty

Republicans are tough on terror, and they won’t let Constitutional law stand in the way of their angry white outrage and ideology.

“Sick” is a word that applies to these ranting war mongers, politicians and Supreme Court Justices alike, for not only disagreeing with the decision but impugning the majority Justices.

Reading the AP story left a sinking feeling in my gut.
Republican presidential candidate John McCain…sharply denounced a Supreme Court decision that gave suspected terrorist detainees a right to seek their release in federal courts. "I think it's one of the worst decisions in history," McCain said. "It opens up a whole new chapter and interpretation of our
constitution."

Like he would know? It’s McCain’s very own 2006 Military Commissions Act, denying the detainees access to federal courts, the Justices objected to saying it violated the constitution.
McCain said he had not read the ruling and reserved his criticism. But (the next day), speaking to about 1,500 people at a town hall meeting in Pemberton, N.J., he attacked the decision, saying the law he helped write "made it very clear that these are enemy combatants, they are not citizens, they do not have the rights of citizens."

No Senator, they’re just human beings who may or may not be guilty of anything.

Sadly, it seems only American citizens have rights no one else deserves.
