Many got caught up in the fever, even though they were the minority party. This is your ideology, you own it, now give it up. It doesn't work.

Today sometime, I will be dealing with the Community Reinvestment Act, and how it ISN'T a part of this mess.

I always love how you free market zealots blame big government Democrats and their "regulations," except now, when your big theory seems to have blown up in your face.

I'm loving the part where I get to see you twist in the wind.

Thanks for your gleeful response.Democurmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16336177394503335112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183447461205976739.post-56801948637885045992008-10-04T14:27:00.000-05:002008-10-04T14:27:00.000-05:00Behold, the myth that Democrats who know the true ...Behold, the myth that Democrats who know the true cause of the financial must necessarily cast upon an unsuspecting public.

The exact opposite is true.

See how the word "government" is substituted for the words "Fannie May and Freddy Mac" when discussing predatory lenders, a brilliant neologism created for the purpose of propelling the myth. Notice how all the blame, in its entirety, is simplistically heaped upon the despised Bush and not a single Democrat to blame. When it was Bush himself who attempted to rein in these two agencies but was blocked by Democrats in Congress. Notice too how the exceedingly culpable Community Reinvestment Act is conveniently omitted.

The writer of this article thinks you're all too stupid to notice. Your intelligence and power of observation are being offended here.Chip Ahoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12597726289890879627noreply@blogger.com
