NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS STOPPED THE CRIME.

Why is it you never hear from the Anti-Gun people like yourself...

The problem with crime today is not the tools... but the MENTAL HEALTH and SOCIAL ISSUES that drive people to commit crimes..Not just with guns but with knifes, baseball bats, gold clubs, their fist..etc. etc. etc.

WAKE UP... YOU ARE NEVER going to get rid of all the tools available to kill people.

WAKE UP... start putting all the efforts your wasting on trying to ban the tools... and put that effort and money toward MENTAL HEALTH and SOCIAL ISSUES.

When you start addressing these problems, crime will start going down. Will you ever get rid of all of it... NO.

There is only one person who can watch out for you... and that's
YOU...!!!

Everyone should have the right to make their own choice on how they protect themselves and their families.

If you don't like guns, then don't own one, but don't tell people they don't have the right to choose.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183447461205976739.post-86582896894676853522009-04-27T09:37:00.000-05:002009-04-27T09:37:00.000-05:00i don't know what "perfectly normal" is to you but...i don't know what "perfectly normal" is to you but normal people don't just kill their entire family.

And you would like to ban handguns because of suicide? how will that help? would you also like to ban OTC drugs that people use to commit suicide? how about razor blades? knives? rope? that logic is extremely flawed.

taking guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens will leave only the criminals armed. ill keep my guns.. and you can call the cops when someone breaks into your house or attacks you on the street.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183447461205976739.post-82301200517285572402009-04-26T14:42:00.000-05:002009-04-26T14:42:00.000-05:00To Brad,

Then I decided home protection was warranted despite accidental deaths and suicide. Now I'm back to banning hands guns again because of all the accidental deaths, suicides and the application of the "castle law" outside of the castle. Having said that...

Under current law, I think you should have a right to carry a weapon in your yard. It was wrong to be arrested on your property. This ridiculous move by the police created the opening for gun wacko's to push their case, like J.B. Van Hollen is doing now.

As far as choice is concerned, the majority of people will not be carrying hand guns, which will always leave a greater number of people defenseless. They will always be the victim, like even some gun owners, no matter how many neighbors or restaurant goers have them.

What I'd like you to notice when you read the next story of a hand gun killing is whether the reporter or police mention the legality of the gun involved. Was a perfectly safe legal owner involved? Remember, a perfectly normal person can kill their entire family with a legal fire arm. This is one aspect of the story no one seems to think important.

But I do.Democurmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16336177394503335112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183447461205976739.post-4867534171583755542009-04-26T08:19:00.000-05:002009-04-26T08:19:00.000-05:00I'm not a gun advocate, which is something most pe...I'm not a gun advocate, which is something most people don't understand. I simply don't want to be a victim of a violent attack. I don't want my family to be victims of violent attacks. I believe every individual must make their own choices in life, and using a weapon as a last means of self-defense should not be forced on anyone, or denied anyone -- it is a personal choice, your choice, one that should not be taken away from you.

--Brad Krause
brad.krause@wi.rr.comBrad Krausenoreply@blogger.com
