Mary Burke with Rachel Maddow....

Rachel Maddow.

  1. Was that Tom Barrett in drag? Jobs, bring people together, obligatory hat-tip to women's health choice, but no mention of environmental degradation, workers' rights, income inequality, usurpation of local control. C'mon Mary, you look comfortable on television, but you can do better than this.

I personally think that it will take a populist campaign to unseat Walker, if he actually runs for re-election. A campaign based on shifting control from a bad manager to a good manager will not much enliven the imaginations of the populace. They have heard all of this "bring people together" stuff before.

I still hope that a primary with Kathleen Vinehout that is free of negative ads and revolves around citizen forums all over the state will set a good tone for the general election. But, with the addition of former Obama operatives to her staff, it looks like Burke has the backing of the DLC and that means a cautious, calculated, focus-group driven campaign, which prefers controlled forums.

  2. Who should govern, corporations or the people? That's the only question that really matters in Wisconsin and Burke will duck it.

  3. Burke's claiming travels around the state, Eau Claire and Green Bay, Beloitt, and Monominee stops were all I heard about, after the fact. Any other venues anyone can add? Progressives United have refused to release all the info behind their membership polling scam they ran after they had already decided to endorse Burke. All glitz, few facts.

DLC support is corporate favored involvement in preparation for the, "Over the Hillary," waddle to the podium in 2016

  4. Who the hell cares about membership polling, or who backs or doesn't back Burke. Like you care....

You should talk. Republicans never let the electorate pick their candidates. How are tea party candidates picked? Think about it.
Hate to burst the fantasy bubble you're living in.
