Tea Party Redundancy?

What's the deal?  The tea party is either a part of the Republican party, or THE Republican Party.

So why do they get to comment twice? This is bullshit.

  1. The tea-baggin' morons all love to call themselves "independents" yet the common-folk among them consistently vote for republicans that actually represent America's most wealthy elite and forced-austerity for the rest of the nation.

Unlike the lies published in the media and picked up by even democrats -- this isn't about the middle class -- THIS IS ABOUT FORCING MOST OF AMERICA INTO POVERTY.

Unless we talk about extreme poverty and the way this has enabled massive transfers of money from the working poor to the wealthy elite, no conversation is rational.

The tea-baggers exist as a brand, propped up by propaganda in the media, and actually have no large base at all -- but the media gives them a megaphone and even the democrats act as if this is some massive grassroots movement that they must kow-tow to.

The rest of us, much larger than the sham billionaire-created teabaggin' illusion, are entirely shut out of the process by the media and even democratic politicians.
