Sly in the Morning makes list of Broadcasters choice for best morning shows.

I remember talking to the program director of another radio station in the market, who called Sly the worst talk show host he's heard, all the while letting his own "syndicated" announcer take the profession right down the dumper with juvenile rantings.

Well, I guess he was wrong. From Uppity Wisconsin:
WTDY's John "Sly" Sylvester last night was honored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association annual awards gala for being one of the best three morning shows in Wisconsin.  WTDY also colllected ten other awards, including best promotional announcement by Sly.

I have little doubt that we would be at the precipice of throwing Scott Walker out of office, if not for Sly.
Here's a look at the awards WTDY accumulated, which should prove to many, that having local hosts and reporters is not a bad thing. And congratulations to Shawn Prebil for hosting one of the fastest and most intensely jam packed programs on the radio-Everything at Noon.
